HE at the 49th celebration of St. Janani Luwum Day.
President Museveni Honors Archbishop Janani Luwum:- 16 Feb 2026
HE. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni was the chief guest at the 49th commemoration of St. Janani Luwum Day, held on February 16, 2026, in Mucwini, Kitgum District. During the event, the President donated Sixty Million Uganda Shillings to the Church of Kitgum. He also pledged two trucks which will be delivered within two weeks. The President reaffirmed his commitment to the development of the burial site. .

The report was handed over to the chairpesrson of the tribunal. The report includes the cases ready for hearing. The chairperson promised to bring the case backlog to an end

The Minister of State for Ethics and Integrity launches the the Directorate's Strategic Plan for 2025/26-2029/30, Service Deliver Standards, and the Client Charter for : - 22 Dec 2025
The five-year plan seeks to improve Uganda's Corruption Perception Index score from the current 26% to atleast 33%, coordinate all religious and faith based organisations for national development and embed values education in schools, cultural institutions, and public service.
